Why should I choose India for medical treatment?

Will you help me get a visa?

Yes, once you confirm your visit to India and share your passport details with us, we will send a visa invitation letter to the Indian embassy in your country copying it to you. You can then visit the embassy to get your visa.

 

Do you arrange for an airport pick up?

Yes, we do. Once you book your tickets, you need to share your arrival details with us. We will arrange for your pick up from the airport. Our representative will be there at the airport to pick you and escort you to the hospital. We will handhold you every step to ensure that you get the best medical treatment.

 

What services are included in your package?

Do the hospitals in India accept health insurance?

Yes, they do. However, we request you to inform us about the insurance provider well in advance to help us assist you better.  If it is an approved insurance provider by the hospital, the hospital will directly coordinate with the insurance company. However, if the insurance provider is not impanelled with the hospital, they might ask for a guarantee of payment from the company.

 

Will MedX also assist in obtaining a visa for the attendant?

Yes, we will assist the attendant in obtaining a visa from the embassy. You need to share the passport details of the attendant with us. We will send the visa invitation letter to the Indian Embassy in your country from where the attendant will get the visa. Attendants are advised to travel on a medical attendant visa.

 

Would I be assisted with an interpreter during my stay?

Yes, we have in-house interpreters to assist you in case of any language barrier.

 

How will my offshore check-up with the Doctor in India after treatment be scheduled?

Our team is regularly in touch with all our patients once they have traveled back after taking the treatment in India. We assist you with complimentary online consultation with your treating doctor, in case needed.

 

When making a trip to India for medical treatment, what are the essential documents I need to carry along?

It is important to carry all your past medical reports and prescriptions, passport copies, passport size photos  & details of health insurance if any.

 

What are the acceptable modes of payment in India?

All major modes of payments are accepted in India – Cash/ International  Master or Visa Credit Card, Traveler’s cheque, etc. We can also help you with currency exchange, in case needed. Most hospitals in India accept payment in multiple currencies, but the American Dollar is the most preferred form of cash transaction.
